Make, Zapier & API workflows that connect your real stack

Automation & Integrations

In short

Automation and integrations connect the tools you already run — Shopify or WordPress stores, Guesty and other PMS platforms, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, CRMs, Google Sheets, PassKit, Cal.com, Facebook Lead Ads, Trello — so bookings, leads, guests, and tasks move without someone copying rows between apps. I design and build Make.com scenarios and Zapier workflows (plus custom API hooks when no-code hits a wall) with validation, branching, and documentation. Strong fit for ecommerce brands, Australian holiday-rental and property operators, and agencies that need ops that hold up after launch.

Typical timeline

A focused single workflow often ships in 1–2 weeks. Multi-system stacks (PMS + email + sheets + lead ads) usually run 2–5 weeks depending on how many apps, edge cases, and live data clean-up you need.

How we work together

A focused single workflow often ships in 1–2 weeks. Multi-system stacks (PMS + email + sheets + lead ads) usually run 2–5 weeks depending on how many apps, edge cases, and live data clean-up you need.

  1. 01 Days 1–3

    Map the real workflow

We walk through what your team actually does today — new booking, new lead, guest update, unsubscribe, property task — and mark which steps are copy-paste, which fail quietly, and which ones are worth automating first.

  2. 02 Week 1

    Design the event graph

Triggers, field maps, routers, filters, and failure paths get written down before modules are wired. You see which system is source of truth for guests, leads, and tasks — not a tangle of overlapping zaps.

  3. 03 Weeks 1–4

    Build, validate, go live

Make or Zapier scenarios are built against real sample payloads (including messy emails and webhooks). JSON validation, delays where APIs need them, and test runs happen before anything hits production lists.

  4. 04 Final week

    Document & hand over

You get a readable scenario list, what each webhook does, where sheets live, and how to spot a failed run. Optional retainer covers tweaks when you add a new listing channel or lead form.

Let's Talk Let's Talk

Automation that matches how your ops actually run

Most teams do not need “more tools.” They need the ones they already pay for to talk to each other. I build Make.com and Zapier automations — plus custom API work when a native module is not enough — so bookings, guests, owner leads, and marketing tags update without someone living in copy-paste hell.

That might be a Shopify order pushing into a CRM and Slack. It might be a Guesty guest event updating Google Sheets and Mailchimp. Or a Facebook Lead Ad landing in a free-appraisal sheet with an email to your team the same minute. The stack changes; the job stays the same: reliable handoffs, clear ownership, and workflows you can explain six months later.

What I typically connect

Ecommerce: Shopify or WooCommerce to Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, sheets, and fulfillment alerts.

Hospitality & short-stay: Guesty (and similar PMS) webhooks for guests, listings, and tasks; PassKit-style digital wallet / loyalty lifecycles; HostBuddy issues into Trello.

Lead engines: Facebook Lead Ads, Cal.com bookings, landing-page Mailchimp events, Outlook or Gmail notifications, and postcode-aware branching when you only service certain suburbs or regions.

Under the hood: routers, iterators, JSON parsers, HTTP modules, ChatGPT-assisted formatting when an email arrives as unstructured text, and deliberate waits so race conditions do not corrupt your sheets.

Make.com vs Zapier — honest take

Zapier is excellent for linear, low-drama connections. Make.com is usually the better home when you need branching, multi-path reservation logic, mailhooks, or a dozen related scenarios that share the same sheets and lists. I pick the platform that fits the workflow — not the one that sounds trendier in a proposal.

Built for Australian operators (and remote teams worldwide)

A lot of this work sits with Australian brands — Gold Coast holiday rentals, boutique property operators, agencies that need AEST/AEDT-friendly handovers. Automations can respect service areas (which postcodes you manage, which you politely decline) so GEO-facing lead funnels stay honest. Remote ecommerce teams elsewhere get the same approach: scoped quotes, documented scenarios, no mystery spaghetti.

Who this is for

  • Shopify and WordPress teams drowning in manual order / lead admin
  • Holiday rental and hospitality brands on Guesty who need Mailchimp, sheets, and ops boards in sync
  • Property and owner-acquisition funnels running Facebook + booking pages
  • Agencies that want a repeatable Make / Zapier playbook for clients instead of one-off experiments

What you walk away with

Working scenarios in production, a short written map of what fires when, and optional ongoing support when tools change APIs or you add a new channel. See a live example in the Nuve Escapes automation case study — Make.com wiring Guesty, PassKit, Mailchimp, Facebook leads, and Cal.com for a Currumbin / Gold Coast holiday brand.
