Overview

Grow&Co is a boutique Gold Coast and South East Queensland real estate agency — residential sales, rentals, and property management under one brand. The public site had to feel premium, stay in sync with live inventory, and turn suburb browsers into appraisal and enquiry leads — not sit as a static brochure next to realestate.com.au and Domain.

I built a custom WordPress theme from Figma and wired the operational stack Australian agencies actually run: Rex as the CRM source of truth, FeedSync for REAXML listing sync into WordPress, CoreLogic API data on appraisal landing pages, plus automation into Mailchimp so seller and landlord leads keep moving after the form submit.

The challenge

Boutique agency sites usually break in the same places: design that fights the brand, listings that lag behind the CRM, and appraisal forms that email a spreadsheet instead of feeding a proper pipeline. Grow&Co needed one WordPress front end that could carry hero storytelling, buy/rent listing search, market content, and a multi-step “Request an Appraisal” journey — while agents kept working in Rex the way they already did for portals.

Development story

The build was never “theme only.” It was a connected system: brand presentation on the surface, agency ops underneath.

1. Brand theme from Figma

We started with a custom WordPress theme converted from Figma — reusable sections for hero, proof, listings grids, agent storytelling, and content blocks. Editors can ship new campaign and suburb pages without waiting on a developer for every layout change. Mobile performance and Core Web Vitals were scoped from day one so heavy listing galleries would not drag the brand experience down.

2. Rex CRM as the operational hub

Rex is an Australian-built real estate CRM used widely across ANZ agencies for listings, appraisals, rentals, and team workflows. It already pushes inventory to portals and exposes an open API / REAXML feed path so the website does not become a second place to “type listings in again.” For Grow&Co, Rex remained the place agents manage stock and vendor work; the website’s job was to publish and convert — not replace the CRM.

3. FeedSync — CRM listings live on WordPress

FeedSync is the bridge between CRM listing feeds (REAXML / API) and WordPress — commonly paired with Easy Property Listings so residential, rental, and land stock update when the CRM updates, the same way portals stay current. We configured the Rex → FeedSync → WordPress path so sales and rental inventory, status changes, and gallery updates flow to growandco.net without manual copy-paste. Queue logs and sync health mattered as much as the front-end templates: if a listing fails to process, the team can see it.

4. Appraisal landing pages + CoreLogic API

Seller and landlord demand centres on appraisal. Grow&Co’s multi-step appraisal flow (contact details, sales vs rental, ownership, readiness / tenancy) needed more than a pretty form — it needed property-aware inputs. CoreLogic (RP Data / Cotality in the Australian market) is the dominant property data and valuation provider: address matching, property attributes, and automated valuation model (AVM) style estimates used across agency and finance stacks. On the appraisal landing experience we integrated CoreLogic API capabilities so address entry and estimate context sit on trusted Australian property data rather than free-text guesses — supporting “instant sale or rental estimate” style journeys while the lead still lands with the agency team for a human follow-up.

5. Automation + Mailchimp

A form submit is only the first mile. We wired automation so appraisal and enquiry events can route into the agency’s follow-up rhythm — including Mailchimp for segmented email nurture (welcome sequences, suburb / sales vs rental paths, and ongoing market content) without agents manually exporting CSVs. That keeps WordPress as the capture layer, Rex as the deal layer, and Mailchimp as the long-lifecycle marketing layer — connected instead of siloed.

What shipped

  • Custom Figma-to-WordPress theme with listing-led UX for buy and rent catalogues
  • Rex CRM as listing/ops source of truth with FeedSync REAXML sync into WordPress
  • Appraisal landing pages with CoreLogic API-backed property/address intelligence
  • Lead automation into Mailchimp (and related workflow hooks) for post-submit nurture
  • Blog / market-insight templates, speed work, and ongoing support after launch

Outcome

The live site at growandco.net presents a cohesive boutique agency brand with a real Australian stack behind it: Rex for agency operations, FeedSync for live listings, CoreLogic-informed appraisal landing pages, and Mailchimp-ready automation for lead nurture. The theme stays editable for the team while the integrations keep inventory and leads moving — the difference between a marketing site and a working Gold Coast agency website.
